This time as pandemic strikes, people are struggling with their jobs. Some lost their jobs because of lockdowns around the world. People are starting to adapt and live a new arc with this so-called “New Normal” lifestyle.

Stay healthy.

Health is the most vital thing during this time of the pandemic, never forget to take your vitamins and stay hydrated. If you’re a social worker or office worker or even just working at home, avoid making contact with other people if necessary. Always wash your hands with soap and avoid touching your face. Most of all never forget to sanitize your hands with alcohol and always wear a mask. Never let yourself get exhausted too much to avoid over-fatigue that may cause a drop in your immune system. We all want to work hard but too much is enough, never let a goodnight sleep slip away. Do some exercise at least 2–3 times a week to stay fit and strong. Check this article on how to stay fit during Covid-19.

Stay organized.

I recommend Monday, a project management tool. Staying organized helps you get through the day with fewer worries. Creating a flowchart for your business is also an essential thing to do when working remotely.

Effective communication.

Communication is a core function in business. Working remotely has its downside. Miscommunication, not being able to deliver proper instructions, and poor teamwork. But now there are lots of tools and software that are available online. After all, with the communication possibilities of the digital age — from submitting materials through email or dropbox to low-cost teleconferencing and video-conferencing — the old reasons for making employees commute to the office every day no longer apply. I recommend Slack and Skype for these are invaluable tools for collaborative projects.

Thoughts:

This information is my research. And also these tools that I’ve mentioned are something that I use. I hope you find this post useful. Thank you :)
